#8 Sound
Another thing I'm bad at
Something I always leave for last or not do at all, let's work on some sound. To quickly get started, I opened the chrome experiments song-maker: https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/ . I just clicked some notes till it sounded okay to me. Then I adjusted the tempo to fit my needs. This is the final result.
Unfortunately, the audio tags don't seem to work here. So you will just have to hear it in game.
This will do. I definitely want a jingle to play when you complete a level. So let's work on that.

I want some high notes to indicate something good, I think it works.

All that's left now is some sound effects for interactions with the characters and buttons. I use https://sfxr.me/ to generate something random and tweak it till I'm happy with it.
I've hooked up the interaction sound effect. The world feels a lot more alive now.
I'm not sure about the background music. I will leave it on for now. If it starts getting too annoying and repetitive, I might only use it for the menu screen. Wait. I don't even have a menu screen yet. Let's make that next!
Let's have lunch together!
Assign seats so everyone is happy!
