#1 Making a plan


Planning

Before I hop into Unity and start making my game, I need to make a plan. Otherwise, I fear this game will never get done in time. I need to prioritize making a prototype as soon as possible.

I will need to make a table, with some seats that belong to the table. A list of people with their wishes, these wishes, should display on the screen when a person is selected. A person should be allowed to be assigned to a seat (preferably by drag and drop) and maybe show if their wishes are fulfilled.

I will need to focus on getting these basic mechanics working first, with some primitive shapes. I will swap these later with real models and polish everything last. I've decided to make this a 3D game with a fixed camera.

After that, I will continue to build more levels.

I also list some extras here. These will only get done once I've finished making the fundamentals of this game.

  • Different size tables
  • Menu
  • Add a story in the levels
  • Music
  • Ending
  • Different people sit differently
  • Make people fight if they are unhappy
